Welcome to Project 144, an attempt by Kingdom of Akron to get ready for Ragnarok in 2015 and keep up with general Dagorhir related projects.
Update: Project 144 posts will be hosted at akronproject144.blogspot.com. This page will stay active an updated every month, but pictures and such will be posted on the new site to keep the KoA site uncluttered. If you want authorship permissions to post your projects, please send an email to Kaelyn.
The Goal: Each participant completes one project each month for the next twelve months.
The Projects: Determining projects are up to the participants. A project is anything you think you can complete in a month. A project can be a single garb item or an entire set of armor; a quiver and arrows or a sword. It is up to you! You aren't limited to just completing the project you choose either - if you get more done, we want to hear about it.
Getting Posted: Email in pictures & descriptions of your completed projects or post them on the Project 144 blog. (you'll need posting permissions). If you'd rather just post on your blog, send in a link to your project page. Use the Project 144 button above to link back to KoA. Feel like writing a tutorial? Great! Take those pictures, write your steps, and we'll get it published here.
The Future: We would like to eventually be a conglomeration of tutorials and useful posts that other people can use to work on their own projects. We want to encourage everyone to be active in both Dagorhir and the Kingdom of Akron. We want to get more than twelve people participating in Project 144!
In addition to the two swords and two quivers, I also need to finish 12 arrows and my helmet as part of my July Project.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, the helmet is now done, the interior padding was the last thing it needed. I will have to get Kaelyn to post some pictures!
I'm thinking probably at least a dozen arrows, though I still need the closed cell for the 2in caps.
